The startup behind Lonero OS is collaboratively working on creating the next generation operating system. This operating system is primarily based off LUbuntu as well as experimental lightweight variations of Linux, and can run on ARM7 architecture (meaning it can run on lowest gate count entry points and lightweight micro-controllers such as the Raspberry PI). They are currently in the experimental phase, so successfully installing the OS or using it isn't a prerequisite to enter this game jam.

However, any game that enters this game jam must be compatible with the same architecture this ISO is on, and must be submitted preferably as a Debian file or docker image as well as successfully run on lightweight Linux operating systems and work on Lonero OS.

NPM packages are also allowed as submissions.

Another considerable criteria is that games that offer peer to peer connectivity, run on some sort of torrent like transmission, or Bluetooth compatibility are looked at as more favorable. We wish you the best of luck and are excited to see what you can come up with!
