RULES

Games must be submitted to this itch.io page before 5pm on December 3rd 2023.

Games may be worked on by teams of 1 to 6 people.

Games must incorporate the theme in an effective way.

Assets used must either be FREE or created by a team member.

AI assisted assets are not allowed.

Judging

The December Dash Game Jam will be judged by a panel of game development professors from Clark University.

The judges will pick the best game based on the following criteria:

Gameplay Quality

Aesthetic Beauty

Winning and Prizes

The winning team will receive $50 of steam games per person on their team. To receive the prize you must be a student at Clark University.

FAQ

Q. When can I start work on my game?

A. You can't start until 5pm on December 1st 2023. You can prepare for the jam by making sure your software is up to date.

Q. How can I find a team?

A. Our Discord is full of other motivated developers you can team up with. Additionally, a prelaunch mixer will take place at 4pm on December 1st at MACD 2nd floor lounge, this would be a great time to mingle with developers and join a team.

Q. What can I use to make my game?

A. Any and all non-AI software is allowed to be used, as long as you can submit your game to itch.io. Unity, Godot, Unreal, Twine, GameMaker, etc. are all encouraged!
