Hello! I've recently launched a Patreon to help support continuing making ttrpgs and ttrpg related content, and as a tie-in with the monthly digital zine I release there, I'm going to be hosting monthly jams here on itch to get folks creating some ttrpg materials, whether it's simple statblocks, rollable tables, adventures, or whole games!

For the month of September, I'm inviting everyone to create materials related to harvests and harvest festivals, to get into that autumnal mood. Throughout history, much of human existence has revolved around food, so it's no surprise that the harvest periods have been accompanied by big celebrations around the world. There's a ton of rich folklore and traditions to work with, as well as much potential yet to be explored!

I encourage everyone to look into harvest traditions of your local area or that of your ancestors. Perhaps visit a farmer's market, have a look at what's there. Go for a walk in nature and think about food. Enjoy a delicious meal and explore where that food came from. It's easy to forget how food brings people together and connects us, so use this jam as an opportunity to explore that!

Guidelines

1. Submit an analogue project (no video games, sorry)!
2. Explore the theme however you see fit!
3. Don't be a jerk!
4. Existing projects are fine!
5. Feel free to charge what you're worth!

I've put together a few threads in the Community tab for this jam to get discussion going and provide interesting material as I come across it! Hopefully y'all have fun with the jam and come up with some cool projects!
