Date-A-Monster is an unranked visual novel game jam dedicated to those who love monster characters. Participants are tasked with making a romantic-styled visual novel of any genre that focuses on a monstrous creature from any origin, be it classic, modern, or original.

Rules:

• Your VN must focus on one or more monstrous character that is either a love interest, antagonist, or main character.
• Fan games are A-OK!
• Your VN must have romance or be romantic in some way.
• Submissions that contains erotic material are allowed but must be tagged properly!
• Usage of Generative AI in any manner is strictly forbidden.
• Demos and incomplete entries are allowed.
• You must include any applicable content warnings at the top of your game's webpage.
• You may reenter previously made games from other jams into this one, as long as it abides by both jams' rules.
• Your game must be a visual novel styled game.
