DataBlade is a Game Jam hosted by DaRubyMiner360. This game jam will be keep being hosted every month or so if it goes well.
Theme
The theme hasn't been announced yet!
Dates
The jam will run for 4 days from 2:00 PM CDT August 15, 2020 to 2:00 PM CDT August 19, 2020.
Rating
The games are rated in these categories: Game Design, Fun, Innovation, Theme, Graphics and Audio. These cover most of the aspects of game development, don't worry if your game lacks in any of these (but at least make sure you get the theme right!)
After the submission period is over, there will be a 2 week period to rate the games.
Winning
The best overall game, and as well the best games in each of the rating categories will be the "true winners". They will get showcased at the top of the page and on our Discord server (including a fancy role).
But in the end, everyone who managed to finish a game and have fun is a winner, this is what jams are all about!

- Work alone or with a team.
2. Game submissions
- Submission must NOT contain sexually explicit, racist, sexist, or otherwise disturbing content
3. Code of conduct
- Treat each other with respect
- Be mindful of your speech and behavior towards others, especially when disagreeing
- Harassment or abuse of any form will not be tolerated
- Use appropriate profile images and names
- Do not send unsolicited private messages to anyone
- Do not share sexually explicit, racist, sexist, or otherwise disturbing content
- Do not disclose personal information about anyone other than yourself
- You are allowed to use ANY game engine!
