The Darkmatter Game Jam is an exhilarating 60-hour game development event where participants come together to create unique and innovative games based on a specific theme. Hosted by Darkmatter Productions, this jam is designed to inspire creativity and collaboration among developers of all skill levels, from complete beginners to seasoned experts. Over the course of three intense days, developers, artists, musicians, and designers work either solo or in teams to bring their game ideas to life.

Participants are encouraged to experiment with new tools, try out different game mechanics, and step outside their comfort zones. Whether you're developing your first game or you're a veteran of many jams, the Darkmatter Game Jam provides a supportive and challenging environment to push the boundaries of what's possible in game development. With limited time and a unifying theme, the focus is on creativity, resourcefulness, and innovation.

At the end of the event, all submitted games will be showcased, giving participants the opportunity to receive feedback from peers and industry professionals. There are no major restrictions on the type of game that can be made, allowing for a wide variety of genres, styles, and approaches.

Whether you're a solo developer or part of a team, this is your chance to showcase your skills and win exciting prizes! You can choose to work individually or in teams of up to 3 members. We’ve also set up a Discord server where you can connect with experts, get help, and chat with other participants throughout the jam. Collaboration is key to creating something extraordinary, and our community is here to support you every step of the way.
