Hello Darkness my old friend?

Tired of Jump Scares and Heart Races, but still wanna exist in that cold comfort and beautiful darkness? Then this is a Jam for you! Dark Serenity is all about the calm within the storm, and finding comfort in the darkness, rather than intense or horrific experiences. 
I've listed some aspects of other games as Examples

The Goal:

To make a casual game, with a dark atmosphere, that is not a horror game.
Any way that you interpret that is valid as long as it's within the Criteria .

Considerations

• Though this Jam has public voting, there are no prizes to be won. However, a certain rating will determine which games get prominently featured on the Jam page next month. See Voting for more details.
  
• You can start making your game before the Start Date if you'd like, since the Jam's concept is meant to be freely interpreted!
