Hey there, game makers! Welcome to the very first D5 Game Jam — a 4-day online game development challenge designed to break the ice, build community, and give you a taste of the full game dev lifecycle from concept to completion.

Whether you're a first-time jammer or a seasoned developer, D5 is your space to experiment, connect, and create. We’re testing the waters with this jam, and your participation helps us explore whether regular online jams can help foster a stronger, more connected game dev scene — locally and beyond.

The D5 Game Jam is built around 3 core ideas:

1. Experience – Build and finish a game in just 4 days.

2. Community – Connect with fellow developers, artists, and storytellers.

3. Exploration – Help us test if regular online jams can create a thriving dev hub.

This jam is about more than just the final product — it’s about learning, making new connections, and starting a journey that might take you far.

• Duration: 4 days

• Start Date: June 5, 2025

• End Date: June 8, 2025

• Team Size: Solo or team (up to you!)

• Engine/Tools: Anything goes — Unity, Godot, Unreal, Scratch — if you can make a game with it, you’re in.
