Welcome to the Cut The Cheese - Mod jam!

This jam is pretty simple, create an add-on for the text-based terminal game Cut The Cheese where the winner will have their add-on made official, featured with the main game, and a special mention in the next official add-on for Cut The Cheese.

Theme: There is no theme!

I am linking in the link to the base game's page and an example expansion and extension, use these to help make the basis of the add-on. note that the main folder and it's contents must not be changed for your add-on to work. Use these templates and keep the functions for loading the add-on and it's variables in the same format and naming. Also i haven't made a whole lot of comments within the code so please excuse me if it is hard to read, if you have any questions, post them in the community post on the jam labelled 'Code Queries'

Python Dependencies:

1. pygame
2. nltk
3. deep-translator
4. httpx

Rules:

  1. must fit within Cut The Cheese style and humor
  2. must be made with python code and do not make edits to the main folder and files for the expansion to work
  3. Only one file for submissions, so no added dependencies for the files other than the main game
  4. choose the correct type; expansions for full blown add-ons with rooms, items, and enemies. extensions for a max of two of the content: rooms, items, enemies
  5. avoid as many bugs as possible
  6. the add-on should be balanced, there is a certain range however that will be accepted or given a 'wild card'
  7. multiple endings are encouraged. Expansions must have at least one new ending. Extensions do not require any endings
  8. submissions must be completed by the end of the submission period
  9. Manual judging will decide on functionality and balancing, the rest is up for community voting
  10. DO NOT make your add-on a paid installation
