The goal is to create a small, playable game in two weeks that reimagines Frogger as a horror game

Theme

Interpret this however you like:

  • Crossing something far more sinister than traffic
  • Escaping danger in a twisted or surreal environment
  • Turning a familiar, harmless setting into something dreadful
  • A metaphorical or psychological take on “crossing to the other side”

Rules

  • Keep it safe for work and respectful.
  • Scope: Aim for a playable prototype (it doesn’t need to be polished).
  • Assets: free/CC assets are allowed, but original art/audio is encouraged.
  • You may use any engine or tools (Unity, Godot, Unreal, etc.).
  • Projects MUST be created during the jam

Judging Criteria

Each game will be scored in these categories:

Fear Factor Is it scary or thrilling?
Creativity Is it original or memorable?
Replayability 
Does it invite multiple playthroughs? 
Playability Is it stable and intuitive?
Physics/Mechanics Do the interactions feel solid?
Fun Factor Is it enjoyable to play?
Polish How refined is the presentation (UI clarity, visuals, audio, user experience, overall finish)?

Voting

All submissions will be hidden until the end of the game jam. The voting period will end on 11/02/2025 at 11:59 PM
