The idea behind this Jam is just for people to make things! So nothing is ranked and nothing is required of you; the idea behind the Jam is to go at your own pace in whatever way you find most fun!

To help guide the Jam, here's a list of suggested restrictions. You can choose to ignore as many as you want or; you can even ignore all of them if you want 😊

    • Please if you're going to follow the time limit, don't do this all at once. Please split it up over many days, weeks or even months
• Modifiers
  • Text
    • Create a game entirely without text or built only using text characters
  • Synchronise
    • Setup some game behaviour to response to some real world data e.g.
      • Time of Day
      • Weather
  • Patch Work
    • Avoid coding anything. Make use of built in features or additional packs on the asset store only
  • Retro stylized
    • Setup your game to look like an old-school game e.g.
      • PS1era models/graphics
      • CRT filter
  • Hard Limits
    • Limit the number of unique assets you can create e.g.
      • Only 5 textures in the entire game
      • Only 1 sound effect, every sound effect has to be based around modifying this
      • Game must at most use 32MB (Or whatever number you choose) of RAM

    • You may only use assets you have previously created
  • Art Pack
    • For the main gameplay, you may only use art from these packs (UI doesn't have these restrictions)

Again you can ignore all of these if you want, they're purely recommendations! So if you wanted to just knock out a little idea in 2 hours and call it there you can!
