CSU • GDC 2025 Fall Into Games, Jam
A two-week game jam hosted by Colorado State University’s Game Development Club!
Grab your friends and acquaintances or strike it alone and show us what you've got! Theme decided by club members and club officers through a (very sophisticated, we assure you) battle-royale styled voting system.

How many peeps per submission?
No more than four individuals may be part of a team as of this round’s ruleset. Restriction: there can be no team solely composed of club officers. You may also strike it alone!
How long should the game be?
Any amount of time you want! Might be good for at least two minutes of gameplay? In any case, as much as you can prepare and as feels right for a short presentation in a live setting.
Which game engines can I use?
If it makes games then it's good for this jam! If it doesn’t make games and you can make it make games, more power to ya!
Who can participate?
Although this Game Jam is officially put on for the Colorado State University Game Development Club's members, anyone who's reading this and has an idea is eligible and welcome to join! Whether you’re in state or exterior, all is fair. That said, if you’d like to present your game, you’ll need to join our Discord server for updates, communications, and create a plan to present or be presented on the day of!
Can I use premade assets?
Use your best judgement! We want to see something new, from the ground up if you can!
Can I/we use generative AI?
We'd prefer if you didn't! No strict policing to be done, but in the spirit of a game jam proper, try to avoid it! What can *you* make?
Can I submit games from prior jams or projects?
Nah.
Is this a competitive Game Jam?
Though most Game Jam's are strictly competitive with a rating system, you can think of it more like a “make and submit anything you can within the time period" type o' jam. Get out there, have fun, and show us what you can do without the worry of final standings (because there are none.)
Is there a place where results will be discussed?
Results will be shown in-person at CSU’s Engineering 100 at 4:00 P.M. MST to 6:00 P.M.Back up in the air! Standby for updates.
Any and all submissions are eligible to be featured on the Colorado State University's Game Development Club's Itch.IO page in a collection, the original jam submissions page, and or as a main title if the submitter is willing to add the club as a collaborator. All of this is optional of course! Please indicate in the submission whether or not you would like your title to be featured in any capacity. Note: this is the club's third official use of Itch.io, so there may be some kinks in terms of where certain games are shown where. We'll do our best to work through this bit appropriately as initial results come in!
