🌍 Cross Worlds – International Student Game Jam

Cross Worlds is a week-long, multicultural student game jam where participants from across the world connect, collaborate, and craft new worlds!

Organized by Xamk Game Studios in cooperation with the Embassy of Brazil in Finland, with participation from several international universities.

Who Can Join?

• Current students from participating universities.

Teams

• 3–5 members per team.

• Diverse roles encouraged (programmer, artist, designer, sound designer) but not mandatory.

• Mandatory: At least one student from another university or nationality.

💾 Submission Guidelines

• Platform: Submissions via Itch.io

• Format: Playable file (Windows, macOS, or web-based), short description, screenshots, optional gameplay video

• Assets: Original assets encouraged; third-party assets allowed if credited

🏆 Judging Criteria

Games will be judged by participants based on:

• Originality: Creativity of the concept

• Adherence to Theme: How well it fits the theme

• Gameplay: Fun and engagement

• Art and Sound: Quality and cohesion of visuals and audio

• Technical Achievement: Complexity and execution
