Have you ever played an old game and thought "I want to make something like this"? Then this is the jam for you!

This being the first "Crimson Jam" it's important to lay out the rules. Every participant gets to rate each game (outside of their own) in five categories:

• Overall Rating
• Gameplay
• Visuals
• Audio/music
• Theme Relevance

While most of these should be obvious, "theme relevance" means how well the game fits with the themes of the jam.

The themes of this jam are Retro and Spiritual successor.

• For this jam you can only use assets you have created yourself or have permission to use. 
• Try to keep NSFW content to a minimum, so no gore and nudity.
• You can work in themes, but only a maximum of 5 members can be in a team.
• Be relevant: games that have nothing in common with the theme will be removed.
• Be civil: racism, homophobia and other forms of bigotry will not be tolerated.

Who can join? Everyone! It's all about having fun, you don't need any specific skill level to participate.

Which engine can I use? Every engine is allowed! Just make sure that your game is at least runnable on windows or has a web version.

Are there any prizes? No, this jam is just for having fun!
