Welcome to the Cypress Ranch Game Jam! This is a local game competition for any current Highschool Students. The competition is open to students of any skill level and any computer science class.

• Capybara: Place a capybara somewhere in your game
• Pumpkin Fever: Pumpkins infect you with hallowdisease
• Sweet Tooth: My doctor says candy can prove to be detrimental to your health

Prizes

• 1st Place Top Game: 50% of prize pool
• 2nd Place Top Game: 35% of prize pool
• 3rd Place Top Game: 15% of prize pool

Top Novice CS Game: Awarded to the game with the highest overall ratings from judges created by students who have not completed the AP CSA or equivalent difficulty exam.

Top Novice Game Developer Game: Awarded to the game with the highest overall ratings from judges created by students who are new to the game development space.

Best Graphics: Awarded to the game with the highest graphics ratings from judges.

Best Use of Theme Awarded to the game with the most creative/innovative use of theme at the discretion of the judges.
