Get ready for the spookiest yet most adorable game jam experience with Creepea Jam! 

In this thrilling event, we invite game developers, mummies, artists, vampires and creatives from all over to take part in this juxtaposition of horror and cuteness. With a theme that embraces the strange, the eerie, and the lovable, 

The Jam will take place over the spookiest time of year HALLOWEEN! But the theme isn't like any Halloween games jam you've ever seen.

HORROR AND CUTE

Games like SPOOKY HOUSE OF JUMPSCARES and LUIGIS MANSION are the key inspiration for the theme.
Creepea Jam challenges participants to create games that blend the macabre with the endearing, resulting in unforgettable gaming experiences.

RULES:

1 - Nothing NSFW, lets keep it clean.
2 - Nothing that singles out or offends peoples way of life, let's keep it friendly.
3 - Keep it PEGI 7. for example you can make an Amnesia style game but don't put in loads of blood and gore, lets keep it light/to theme.
4 -  Only submissions made during the development time will be counted. You can continue to make your game but please wait till after the voting period of the Jam.
5 - Your game can be single or multiplayer. Anything goes as long as you follow the theme.
6 - Use any program you want. UE4, Unity or even make a table top game in word.
7 - You can use third party assets as long as you have the rights or they're free use but you must give credit where credit is due.
9 - Only games built during the Jam count.

VOTING:

There are 5 criteria to hit in the voting.

1 - Theme, does it follow the theme of HORROR AND CUTE well?
2 - Art, does the game look nice?
3 - Game play, how well does the game run?
4 - Originality, does the game show an original take in its story, game mechanics or style? 
5 - Fun factor, how much fun did you have playing it?

There are no prizes but the right to brag on the discord =P. We look forward to seeing what you guys come up with.
