About:

The Creator's Forge: Summer Jam Blockbuster is a brand-new, annual game jam hosted by One Realm Studios and the Creator's Forge. The Summer Jam Blockbuster is centered around a theme of summer vacation, but each year we'll be throwing in additional twists and secondary themes to keep it interesting.

Rules:

1. Please do not produce content that is explicit (meaning sexual or violent) or otherwise unsavory (hateful, bigoted, etc). Content that violates the Terms of Service of any relevant platforms, including, but not necessarily limited to itch.io and Discord, is not allowed.
2. Please produce original work, unique to this jam. If you choose to use assets that are not your own, please provide the appropriate credit (whether you paid for the asset or downloaded it from an asset store for free, please provide the name of the creator).
3. Please work on your submission during the jam; do not begin early (as additional information will be provided to participants once the jam begins) or attempt to work on your submission after the deadline for submission. 
4. Please ensure the submission is free to access until the end of the voting period. After this period, you may choose to monetize your work.

Guidelines:

• Have fun. This is a competition, of course, but more importantly, it's an opportunity to learn.
• You are highly encouraged to work with a team. The host staff can provide assistance with forming a team should you need it.

Scoring and Awards:

Submissions will be rated by the general public during the voting period; winners in each category will receive a role in the Game Foundry Discord server and early access to Creator's Forge content during the year following the jam. Depending on the number of submissions we receive, an additional "Best in Show" award may be given to the submission selected by a panel of judges. Awards will be announced in a livestream sometime shortly after the completion of the voting period.

The jam will be taking place in the Game Foundry Discord server found here! In our server, you can share what you're working on, meet fellow members of the industry, or just enjoy our community should you desire. This is also where you can meet the Team behind the jam and ask any questions you might have.
