Welcome to our first ever $50,000 Prize Pool Game Jam!
Creators of all types; we cordially invite you to take part in the:
'DREAM VACATION' GAME JAM!
This will run from 2nd November 2021, 7pm BST - 16th November 2021 11am BST!
We created this theme to celebrate the wonderful Season content of NEON COAST in particular, but you can interpret this theme however you wish. We're imagining you creating games and experiences set in beautiful, breathtaking environments, something out of your own dreams and fantasies, or maybe you go a darker route...either way, it's up to you. The only specifications are that it fits the theme of 'Dream Vacation', and that the creation generally works.
Also, make it fun!
New to Crayta? Why not join our Discord and chat with the team and community to learn how you could take part, or collaborate with creators, you definitely don't have to make it alone!
There's two weeks, so even if you start half way through, you've got time to create something wonderful. Remember, we are always looking at Quality over Quantity.

The Beautician - This goes to the most aesthetically pleasing entry, a beautiful creation we could just stare at it all day!
Newbie Award - Smashing it first time; this award will go to the best creation from a creator who's never entered our Jams before!
The Inventor - This award will go to the most original idea, whether that's gameplay mechanics, or a way of playing we are yet to see!
The Genius Coder - Think most technically impressive, a creation that really blows our minds and has our Devs going "...how?"
'Can't Put It Down' Award - We're looking for playability, retentiveness, and mechanics that we just don't want to stop doing!
Aural Augmentation Award - Something a bit different, this award is for the best and most inventive uses of Audio in Crayta!
The Metaverse Award - Think outside the box in terms of what you can create; think Socialising, Event Spaces, and more!
The Frankenstein Award - For this award we're awarding kit-bashing, or the combination of elements in ridiculous, unexpected and incredible ways!
We'll also have up to six $500 runners-up prizes for those honourable mentions that we just have to tell people about. It'll be possible to win more than one of these categories but we'd love to see as much variety as possible - SO GET CREATING!
Once You're Ready To Submit
First, hit publish, and put your game into the world of Crayta!
Second, create a Project Page for your game using THIS LINK. Then add your submission to this itch page, including the launch link for your game, which can be found on the Companion Site or in-game.
Feel free to create a forum page on Game Releases, but this isn't necessary for the entry, but is a nice way for more people to see your game! You can also post on the Game-Releases channel on our Discord.
Once the deadline has passed, you can make no changes to the published version! Feel free to edit without publishing, but any games with publish dates/times after the deadline will be disqualified.
