A Message From The Team at Finch West: If you’re like us, you’ve always loved indie games and you believe the industry needs smaller studios. But the major players in the industry have been using data and analytics to build games and make smarter marketing decisions. Well, we think it's unfair that smaller studios have to compete in the same market as big studios without the same resources. So we've spent tons of time analyzing video game market data and making it easy for indie teams to use. If you're an indie game studio, we're fighting for you and we want your product to succeed in the market. Learn more and get started today for only $10.99 per month at https://www.finchwest.com/. And to help celebrate the CRAM JAM,
RULES:
1. Time Limit: Participants have exactly 24 hours to design, develop, and polish their game mechanics. The jam starts at a specified time and ends exactly one day later. (With A 1 Hour Grace Period)
2. Participants are allowed to utilize AI scripts and image generation tools as part of their game development process. This includes the use of AI-generated code, machine learning algorithms, and image synthesis techniques.
3. Solo or Team Participation: You can participate as an individual or form teams to tackle the challenge together. Collaborating with others is encouraged, but it's not mandatory.
4. Originality: Each game should be original and not a direct copy or clone of an existing game. While inspiration from other games is allowed, strive to add your unique twist and make something distinct.
5. Game Submission: Once the 24-hour period is over, participants should submit their games to the designated platform or community specified by the jam organizers. Ensure that your game is playable and includes the core mechanics you intended to create.
6. Community Engagement: Participants are encouraged to actively engage with the Cram Jam community. Share your progress, seek feedback, and provide support to fellow jammers. Respectful and constructive communication is key.
