This game jam is for people to create their own solo journaling TTRPGs using the Crafted in a Shell SRD as their basis. For this jam, we are accepting submissions from people making their own full games or just using the SRD as a jumping point for their own inspiration. Whether it is a fully fledged and playable TTRPG or a supplement to co-exist with a pre-existing Crafted in a Shell game, we are excited to see them! The games don't have to be perfectly designed, they don't have to be pristine, the best Crafted in a Shell games take a vibe and roll with it, whether it's cosy, creepy, cute, or an emotional wrecking ball, it will work well with the SRD.
Crafted in a Shell started as the game Everyone Deserves Shelter, a game about a hermit crab trying to find a new shell. At heart, EDS is about altruism, helping others, and the right to be comfortable. The system is structured around people the characters meet, how those encounters make an impact and how that pushes the character's emotional state and personal journey. To make a great Crafted in a Shell game, consider the theme, what the journey means to the character, and what the ending of the story might mean for the character.
The winners of the previous Crafted in a Shell jam were Light in The Lantern by Penny Blake and Goodbye to You by Stephanie Bryant (Mortaine). There have been plenty of amazing Crafted in a Shell games, you can find them all here: https://itch.io/c/4633837/games-that-use-the-crafted-in-a-shell-srd

First and foremost, this jam is about crafting games and experiences but we do have a few rules in order to keep the structure of the jam and the comfort of those within it.
This game jam isn't about winning or losing but about crafting experiences. As such rankings won't be included in this jam. However, I do also believe in the constructive feedback so for this jam:
