This Spring, on April 26th, CPGD is back with another of its quarterly game jams. Come learn about game development through a 48-hour hackathon where you and a group of fellow students will collaborate to make games! No experience in game development or programming is necessary, and all students are welcome! For more information, email us at officers@cpgd.org or head to one of our weekly meetings in 14-255 on Wednesdays at 6:30pm.

Theme: Connection!

Rules

  • Try to stay on theme, though it isn't required
  • Credit all people involved, including the creators of any assets acquired online
  • Do not make any adult games
  • Have fun!

Itinerary

Day 1 - Friday April 26th:

6:00pm: Meet in 14-232b, in the computer science CSL

6:30pm: Theme announcement
7:30pm: Pitches + group formation

Day 2 - Saturday April 27th:

9:00am: Officers arrive at 14-232b, in the computer science CSL
9:30am: Bagels + Coffee
5:00pm: Dinner provided by CPGD (Sandwiches)

Day 3 Sunday April 28th:

9:00am: Officers arrive at 14-232b, in the computer science CSL1:30pm: Submit game to itch jam submission
2:00pm: Game showcase
3:00pm: Game Jam ends
10:00pm: Game Jam submission closes; Voting begins
