CPE101 Game Jam #39 is here!

Welcome to the CPE101 Game Jam assignment! Here are the details you need to know for your submission

This year's theme is

"COUCH CO-OP GAME!"

Requirements

  • You will work in a group pair with your most trustworthy friend!
  • The game can be built using any game engine or framework of your choice (Unity, Godot, etc., but we recommend Unity).
  • The game need to have at least 2 players playing on the same screen (use any input device of your choice).
  • Submit a WebGL playable version (preferable) however, you can also submit a PC version as well.
  • Create a submission page including the icon and screenshots of your game. Explaining the game concept, mechanics, and controls.

Score Criteria

  • Fun/Gameplay: How engaging and fun the game is. Consider mechanics, replayability, and overall enjoyment.
  • Idea/Creativity: The uniqueness of your game concept, story, and design.
  • Design: How well the game looks and feel, including visual, sounds effect background music.
  • Extra Score: If TA think your game is "extremely good" you will received extra score for this assignment, however this score is not mandatory nor required for you to get the A from this course.

Assets

  • You can use third-party assets (graphics, sound, etc.), but you must give credit to the original creators.
  • Make sure that any third-party assets are licensed for use in student projects (e.g., Creative Commons).
  • You can also use the asset TA provided in class, ModTank 2 (recommended if you are lazy like me).
