Due to the increased threat of Covid-19, more and more people are confined to their homes for the foreseeable future.  Well, while we're all just cooped up anyway, how about a game jam?!

Covid Co-Op is a game jam for analogue games - principally board and card games. Everybody is encouraged to their their hand at designing something - grab some card, pens, dice, tokens and see what you can come up!

At the moment, communities are coming together to stem the flow of the coronavirus, and in celebration of this camaraderie, the Covid Co-Op jam will be all about cooperation and cooperative games. These are games where players often unite against a game system or a game AI. Popular examples include Pandemic, the Legendary series, Sentinels of the Multiverse, The Mind, Healthy Heard Hospital, Dead of Winter, and Freedom: The Underground Railroad.  Cooperative games also usually have a solitaire mode in them, which means that if you're stuck at home alone, you can play these games too!

At the end of the jam, participants will be able to vote on which games they think were the best. There might be prizes!

Jam Rules

• Games made for the game must be analogue (or primarily analogue) games.
• Games must be cooperative or semi-cooperative.
• Entries must have a downloadable print-and-play file which is freely available for the duration of the jam and the voting period.
• The Jam runs from March 14th to March 24th 2020. After that there will be a two-week period to play games and vote for winners. Entrants are strongly encouraged to share their beta versions of their games well before the deadline.
• Voting deadline is 7th April 2020.
• Participants must make the effort to play other games in the jam and provide feedback.
• This is a jam - not a contest. Entries are expected to be made during the duration of the jam.
