Core makes AAA quality, multiplayer game creation easier than it's ever bean! Use Core to create the game of your beans - no prior  game dev experience or culinary skills needed. WE WANT BEAN GAMES. Or just games that harness the raw energy and power of beans, honestly we're not too picky. Make your best bean, meme, or new queue experience game in BEAN JAM 2021.

It may bean a jam about memes, but that doesn't mean there can't bean fabulous prizes!

Do I need a team to participate?

• No, you can work either as an individual bean or with an entire can of fellow beans! For more information on team collaboration within Core, check out the Core Documentation page here! 

How do I submit my entry?

• Follow these directions for submitting your game.

Can I submit multiple entries?

•  Yes, you can submit multiple entries! Multi-bean submissions are allowed, so feel free to include multiple varieties of beans!

How can I use beans in my game?

• For more information on the proper usage of beans, please refer to this guide.

Can I make unique looking art in Core? 

• Yes! From high fantasy to dark wonderlands to modern military, we've got assets to match the mood - and thousands of primitives that can be combined and kitbashed to create a wide selection of complex and simple shapes.  Our art director's blog post describes the ideology behind it all, for those who are curious.

I've never built a game before, will I be able to participate?

• Yes! The Core platform is specifically built to help new developers learn the game development process On top of that, we have amazing tutorial videos linked above, as well as Discord servers and forums where you'll be able to walk through the engine and ask for help in real time.  Check out the resources section below for more information!
