Have you ever made anything cool? Probably cooler than my creation! Then this is the Jam for you! You can upload something neat you've made in the past, or you can make something entirely new! There are a few rules:
-No Hacking (obviously)
-No AI (Unless you're demonstrating an AI that you made)
-Has to be cool
Now, what constitutes as cool? Well, put simply, whatever you think is cool! If you made a blue square move around, or made a solid blue background, as long as YOU think it's cool, It's definitely cool. However, this is a ranked Jam. "Anything you think is cool" is the submission minimum, however "whatever OTHER people think is cool" is the requirement to win. Trust me, anything you make is cool, but some things might be a little cooler than others. No hard feelings. Don't rate someone's just out of pitty. It's a Jam. Be objective as you can, and expect the same from others.
I highly doubt anyone will join this Jam, so anyone who does submit can't exactly be ranked 1,000th to last. To clarify, I mean that most likely winning first, second, or third isn't a huge accomplishment. Let me demonstrate:
Let's say 4 people submit their game. Bam, already more than I expected. Because It's a small dataset, the ranks couldn't accurately show the quality gap between 4th and 1st. The leap between 4th and 3rd might be smaller than the leap between 2nd and 1st. Because of this, there will have to be a base line for the median. In an odd number scenario, this is simple. However, in our 4th place example, things get tricky. You can't average projects like you can numbers. So, if there were an even number of people, I will attempt to add my own game at the last minute to be last place. Bumping it up to an odd number.
