Welcome to ComSocJam!

Members will have one week, starting from 2nd December, to create a game centred around a certain theme!

You are free to interpret the theme however you like.

You are free to use any assets, music (being mindful of copyright), and game engine you like. 

You are strongly encouraged not to use AI of any sort. This game jam is a chance to create a product that you can put on a personal statement or generally be proud of in the future. The use of AI undermines this.

Games will be ranked on the following criteria:

• Level of Fun - how fun they are! The most important characteristic for any game to have!
• Level of Polish - how much attention to detail has been put in? Are the assets well-chosen / drawn? Is the game robust and resistant to bugs?
• Level of Creativity - how unique is your idea? Have you put a highly interesting spin on the theme?

Although Level of Polish is assessed, do not worry if you are using programmer art or simple scribbles! You're creating a game in one week, we do not expect Grade 9 Art GCSE work! Take it easy, and focus on creating something you're happy with. If you are creating a text-based game, then you do not need to worry about this.

Please ensure games are runnable either through the web or on Windows 10 to ensure I can run and test them!
