University of Advancing Technology students and alumni are invited to participate in a serious game jam to help slow the spread of coronavirus and to empower children to protect themselves and their families from the disease.

These videogames will do more than help stop the spread of COVID-19, they also will empower school-aged children.  The coverage of COVID-19 can be quite frightening and potentially triggering, especially to children who are trauma-sensitive.  Empowerment is the antidote to feelings of helplessness.
