This 48-hour game jam is open to college students worldwide!  Whether you're a freshman just starting your journey or returning to campus after summer break, if you're passionate about gaming, this event is for you.

Game Theme

The theme for the 2024 Game Jam is Board and Card Games.

This year’s theme challenges participants to create games inspired by classic tabletop mechanics, focusing on strategy, turn-based play, and player interaction.

No experience is required, this event is open to all aspiring game designers, developers, artists, or simply game-making enthusiasts.

In-Person Kick-Off

We encourage participating schools to host an in-person kick-off on Friday, September 13 @ 5:00 PM (local time).
This is a great opportunity for new students to connect with others and form teams. 

Voting

This is a friendly game jam to encourage inspiration and creativity as we start the new school year. However, everyone likes a little bragging rights, so all submitters and contributors to submission can vote on their favorite games in the jam.
