Cog Jam

The first game jam for Cog Network! There are no rules on languages or game engines, so do what works best for you.

The jam starts on Dec 16 2023 and ends Dec 30 2023. Results will be published on Jan 1 2024.

If this Jam goes will I will consider making this a monthly thing.

Theme:

The theme of the game jam is "Bypass", feel free to interpret this theme however you would like. 

Optional themes:

- "Cog"

- "Fog"

- "Pog"

Rules:

1. Make a game based of the theme.

2. Use any language or game engine you want.

3. All assets should all be made during the jam period.

4. External assets can be used if you have the rights to them and give credit.

5. You can be in a team of any amount of members.

6. Your game should be free and have a web export if passable.

7. No new content may be uploaded after the submission deadline.

Voting:

Games are judged on the following:

- Use of theme

- Music and sound effects

- Enjoyment of the game

- Graphics

- How original is it

What is a good game engine? I would recommend Godot because it is open source and free.

Who is the judges? Games are judged by the submitters.
