The theme of the jam is: "Sweet"
Interpret that anyway you like! I figured something related to coffee would be a nice theme.

If there's one thing I'm passionate about aside from games, that's coffee! So let's combine them!

A secret theme will be announced when the jam starts.

In retrospect, the finish date might have been better to be on National Coffee Day. Next year I think we’ll do that :)

Prizes (Must have a minimum number of  TBD ratings to qualify):

1st: 50 dollar gift card for a coffee shop of your choice (I must be able to buy it online)

2nd: 25 dollar gift card

3rd: 15 dollar gift card

4th: 10 dollar gift card

Special prize: The first person to guess how many total submissions (in a forum thread I will create) will get a 5 dollar gift card. The guess must be after the jam starts. You also must have submitted something to participate. In the event that no one guesses the final number, the closest number to the actual that is BELOW it will be chosen.

A game jam to celebrate International Coffee Day on October 1st, 2022!

You can submit any work of art. A game is preferred, but any media celebrating coffee will be accepted.

Information/Rules:

- Your overall creation MUST be created in the jam time frame. If your work was clearly created before the jam, it will be removed.

- You are allowed to use outside code and outside resources. Make sure to acknowledge what was not created in the time of the jam in your description. Credit people you used resources from please.

- No NSFW works will be accepted

- There will be a secondary theme announced when the jam starts.

- You are NOT required to follow the themes at all. If you just want to create and submit something, that's fine. This will most likely affect your rating though. 

- You can work solo or in teams of any size. I would personally recommend keeping teams under 5 people for a jam. The larger the team, the harder it will be to coordinate... 

- If your submission is late, reach out to me, and we can sort it out. If it is too late, you will become ineligible for the prizes.

- If there has been any evidence of cheating (results are corrupted), the vote for top submissions will be put to a judges vote.
