Welcome!

Are you interested in any way about games and how they are made but don't know where to start? Or are you already an experienced game developer and just want a fun challenge? 
This CODAM exclusive game jam is meant for anyone wanting a challenge or just have fun in game development! Make a game in just 5 days alone, or with a team of up to 4 people. Even if you don't think you can finish in time or have no clue what you're doing, that's perfectly fine!
This jam is meant purely for fun and to develop new skills with your peers.

The Theme

Unconventional Combat!

How it works

• A theme will be announced at the start of the jam, interpret it however you like!
• You'll have 5 days to make a game based on the theme.
• After submissions close, there will be a 3 day voting period.
• That's it!

Rules

• No NSFW or offensive content.
• Your game has to be playable on the browser.
• Your team can have max 4 members
• Please keep the usage of AI to a minimum, using AI for coding is fine but discouraged but completely banned for generating any art, images, music, etc.
• Any engine, software is allowed.
• When assets are used, please provide proper credit in the required field when submitting. 

Submission & voting

When submitting your game, you can update it as much as you like before the deadline. After submissions close, you will still be able to update your games page but nothing more.

For the voting, all games will be visible after submissions close. You will be able to vote on games based on these categories:

• Theme - How well does the game fit the theme?
• Gameplay - How fun did the game feel to play (like controls, movement, etc.)
• Art - How much did you like the visuals of the game, and was it custom made?
• Audio - How well do you think the audio and music fit the game, and was it custom made?
