About the Game Jam
Welcome to the Bootcamp Game Jam 2023 for the May Cohort!, a thrilling and creative game jam where all of the bootcamp learners can come together to showcase their talent and create amazing games. This is your chance to challenge yourself, learn new skills, and have a blast while making incredible games.
How to Participate
- Register: Click on the "Join Jam" button to register for the game jam. If you don't have an Itch.io account, create one—it's free and easy!
- Form a Team: You can only participate as a team. If you're looking for team members or want to join an existing team, the Game Jam lab session will help you out to find one. If you still do not have a team, reach out to your instructors or the Game jam host instructor.
- Prepare Your Tools: Make sure you have the necessary tools and software to develop your game. You have to use Unity and C# as the development tools but you can use any asset from the asset store. However, ensure that you have everything set up for the jam during the first session.
- Read the Rules: Familiarize yourself with the rules and guidelines of the game jam. This includes any restrictions, submission requirements, and guidelines for incorporating the theme into your game.
- Jamming Time: Once the jam starts, let your creativity flow! Work on your game, experiment, and have fun. Don't forget to take breaks, stay hydrated, and engage with the community.
- Seek Feedback: If you need feedback or help during the jam, don't hesitate to ask for assistance from our instructors in our Discord Community Server.
- Submission: When your game is ready, upload it to the Itch.io page for the game jam before the submission deadline. Ensure that you meet all the submission requirements and provide any additional information requested.
Rules and Guidelines
To ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all participants, please adhere to the following rules and guidelines:

- Theme Incorporation: Your game should incorporate the provided theme. Feel free to interpret the theme creatively and showcase your unique perspective.
- Team Size: You can participate only as a team. Maximum allowed participants for a team is 3 (three). Mention all team members in the registration.
