This jam is now over. It ran from 2024-01-10 21:00:00 to 2024-04-06 04:00:00. View 1 entry
Our community is chock full of creative people so I thought it would be a great idea to host a game jam to allow you all to show off a bit.
Each submission must incorporate this theme in some way, whether it is through gameplay, plot, or something else entirely is completely up to you.
To enter you must be in the Fire Emblem Cipher community Discord. If somehow you found this and are not already you can join using this link https://discord.gg/PSfHzVPW .
Submissions will be open for about three months, opening on January 11th and closing on April 6th, afterwards people will have until April 20th to play and rate the submissions.
Your submission must incorporate the theme (Harmonious) in some way, how exactly you do so is entirely up to you and I encourage you to get creative.
You may only make a single submission.
You must make you submission as an individual. However if you so desire you can provide assets (such as art or music) to other submitters.
Your game can be made in any engine as long as it can run in Windows, your game can not be a Rom Hack or some other modification of a previously existing product.
Your game must be made entirely out of assets you either made yourself, or have the legal rights to use, you MAY NOT use AI of any kind to generate any form of content for your submission.
Your submission may not be something you made prior to the jam, you are however allowed to use premade assets in your submission.
You submission must follow the rules of the Fire Emblem Cipher community Discord server (i.e. no NSFW).
You can submit your game at any point up until the voting period begins, if you submit early you can make updates to your game at any point until the voting period begins. Once the voting period begins you cannot make any updates or edits to your game until the voting period is over.
Once the voting period begins the games will be played and rated by any member of the Fire Emblem Cipher community Discord who is interested including other submitters, I will also be playing each of the submissions and streaming them in a public voice chat in the server.
Submissions will be rated on their gameplay, their overall presentation, and how well they incorporated the theme.
The highest rated submission and my personal favorite submission will each receive a prize of $25 USD.
Any submission found breaking any of the rules will be disqualified.
Below you will find a list of resources to help you complete your game, you are not required to use any of these however if you do make sure your read the license and give them proper credit.
