Overview

Get ready for an unforgettable weekend of creativity and collaboration! In partnership with Gator VR and UCF GDK, we’re hosting a 48-hour game jam where you’ll team up with fellow creatives to build the best game possible based on a surprise theme! This jam will be remote but we'll have some spaces open for the weekend. For those in Gainesville, you'll get to enjoy free food, connect with other developers, and take advantage of jam space at Digital Worlds. In Orlando, we'll have the Downtown labs open as well. Whether you're a seasoned game dev or a first-time jammer, this is your chance to sharpen your skills, make new friends, and bring your ideas to life! Game Mentors will also be available!

Rules for the Event

1. Students may work in groups up to 6 students, and we encourage mixing up the teams!
2. Asset packs are permitted, but cannot be more than 50% of the art content.
3. In the spirit of fair competition, you may not use pre-existing code and/or libraries.
   
4. NO NSFW/GORE, keep it PG OR YOUR SUBMISSION WON'T BE COUNTED.
5. NO AI GENERATED CREATIONS ALLOWED! SUBMISSIONS WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
6. A 30-second video of gameplay footage/screen capture must be submitted.
7. SUBMISSION PERIOD: 30 minutes! 7:00pm - 7:30pm.
