After years of promises and enthusiasm, I (Programmer Cheema) am finally hosting my own Game Jam without any bells and whistles! 🥳

This is a 10-Day Game Jam hosted on BAC Games Discord Community which ends at the start of my Birthday 🎂 (14th November) making it extra special with your amazing games that I will be personally playing on my live stream and give you all valuable feedback.

1. Start developing the game at the start of the game jam based on the theme. It is fine to start right after the theme is revealed which is 4 hours earlier than the actual start time of the game jam.
2. You can use external and pre-made assets as long as the license permits you to do so. Please take your time to add a little credits session where you mention each of the creators of those assets being used in the game. We really appreciate that!
3. Using AI to create assets is discouraged here. With that said, you can use AI as much as you can, for all sorts of pre-production steps (brainstorming, ideation, concept art, etc).
4. You can go solo or make up a team totalling 5 members at max.
5. You can use any game engine, library or framework. You can make a game of any genre as long as it follows the theme.
6. No personal attacks, threats, misbehaviour, slang, disruptive conversations, profanity, pornographic, drug, taboo or any such things... in your communication, your behaviour and your games! (pretty sure that I am still missing a couple more things but you get my point)
7. I hold the right to cancel any game submission in case we find out that a team/individual has severely caused trouble, not followed the rules or rigged the votes.
8. You keep all the rights of your game! With that said, I may play your game in the live stream, and use your game's media for social media posts.

Games will be rated on these criteria:

1. Enjoyment
2. Visuals
3. Audio
4. Theme Relevance*

In order to make it fair and square, there are 2 kinds of voting:

Submitter Voting - Only those who submitted the games in the game jam, can rate each others' games. The voting duration is 1 week past the submission time (till 20th November).

Cheema Rating - I will personally rate ALL the games! And let me just tell you: I have a LOT of genre biases and thematic preferences. So, if your game doesn't get highly rated by me, it may be that your game is great but my taste buds are oddly different. 👅

*If a submission is clearly not following a theme, I won't be giving higher ratings in the other criteria as well. So, keeping your game relevant to the theme is really important!
