Rules for the Game Jam:
● Participants will create a game on a given theme
● Maximum 3 participants per team, each school is allowed to send one team of
participants
● Submissions must be submitted through itch.io and a GitHub repository containing the
source code.
● Participants will be given 72 hours after the theme announcement to make and submit
their game, no extra time will be given for submissions.
● Participants must also submit a 90-second trailer about the game.
● There are no restrictions on the platform used, i.e participants will be permitted to use
any game development platform (e.g Unity) or make their own game development
platform if they wish to.
● All references and third-party materials used must be open source and all links for the
references must be provided in the submissions page
● The target OS for the game should be Windows 10/11. Mobile games and games for
macOS are not allowed.
● Browser based games are not allowed.
● 2D, 3D, Infinite (Procedurally Generated) games are allowed. There are no restrictions
on the genre of the game as long as it fits with the theme.
● No 18+ content will be allowed in the game. Failing to uphold this rule will result in an
immediate disqualification.
● Plagiarism is prohibited and will be strictly dealt with.
● Maximum duration for their games should be 30 minutes, unless it is an infinite game.
● Failure to uphold the theme will result in immediate disqualification.
