# CCAW! (6)
The CCAW jam is a game jam held by the Computer Club at WMU (https://cclub.cs.wmich.edu/). The goal of the jam is to have fun, learn, and make something that you can show to others!
## Rules
- Make a game based on the theme and submit it by the deadline.
- Use any game engine, framework, and/or language.
- Just make sure you can easily export it and that it's easy for others to download and play.
- Teams are allowed, but max team size is two, and you only get half of the fame, glory, honor and coolness ๐ each if you win.
- Do not use any assets that you created before this game jam.
- Royalty free art and music is allowed.
- "Assets" includes art, music, and code, but using old boilerplate or using a game engine (even one that you wrote) is fine.
- You get the idea. It's about having fun and creating things from scratch. Use your brain. If you have to ask, it's probably not allowed. :-)
## Judging
Games will be rated by people that submitted a game and the members of the Computer Club. The scoring criteria are:
- Gameplay - How fun is your game?
- Design - How fun are the ideas and mechanics from your game? How well do they mesh together?
- Theme Interpretation - How creative was your interpretation of the theme?
- Coolness ๐ - Coolness ๐
## Theme
The theme is "THINK OF THE CHILDREN"
## Prize
Fame, glory, and honor, coolness ๐.
## Tips
- If you need some game assets, here is a great place to start: https://www.kenney.nl/
- Try to export and submit your game an hour or two before the deadline. Exporting takes way longer than you think!
- Keep you game's scope super small! Just focus on one core idea and polish it! Avoid scope creep!
- Come up with an idea before you start coding!
