Welcome to the Cardinal Tech Fest 2024 Game Development Competition!

Team Composition and Eligibility
The competition is open to all currently enrolled Grade 10 or 12 students from an institution, private or public, in the Luzon area.
Each participating school must send one team with one coach or adviser. The coach or adviser should be a faculty member from their respective school.
Each team should consist only of 3 members. It could be a mix of students from different strands.
Each team can submit only one entry for the Game Development Competition.
Competition Proper
The submission of entries will begin on February 21, 2024, 9:00 a.m. and will end onApril 20, 2024, 11:59 p.m.
The participating teams must create a game under the theme 100. The contestants can make any game that explicitly or implicitly uses 100 either as a game mechanic or as the driving force/premise of the game itself.
The video game must be the students’ original work. Participants are encouraged to solicit advice and instruction from their coach or adviser during the creation of the game. However, all work involved in the creation of the entry shall be accomplished by the team members themselves without assistance from any other parties.
Participating teams of the Game Development Competition are required to create and develop a video game under the theme "100" using any game creation platform that permits the prototype to be played by the judges of the competition on a browser, personal computer, or mobile device without the purchase of a subscription or license.
The video game must not contain the following:
Material that violates or infringes another’s rights, including but not limited to privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, patent, or intellectual property or property-related rights
Footage, images, or artworks not created by the team unless such footage, images, or artworks are included as part of the team’s chosen game creation platform or the team has obtained all rights necessary to include such footage, images, or artwork as part of their entry to the Game Development Competition
Material that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene, hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous, or libelous
Material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred, or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age.
Material that is unlawful, in violation of, or contrary to the laws or regulations in any jurisdiction where the entry is created.
Instructions for Submission
The submission to the event will exclusively be accepted to the competition if made on our official form, even if the organizers have an alternative way of collecting entries.
The teams must submit a functional build, a short (1 - 3 minute) video introducing themselves and their game, and a trailer video of their game in mp4 format.
All entries and requirements shall be checked by the organizing committee. The teams that will submit their games with complete requirements (fully accomplished online registration and the team’s short video introduction) will be scored and reviewed by a panel of judges based on the following criteria:
