What: An online-only, week-long Canberra-themed game jam by & for the local Canberra game developers community. Meet people, make games, have a good time!

When: Friday, July 5th @ 6pm AEST - Friday, July 12th @ 6pm AEST. So you can do a classic 48 hour game jam over the weekend, or you can chip away doing up to 48 hours over the week. We're using the honour system, so to minimise crunch and be fair to everyone, please work for no more than 48 hours work during the jam period.

Where: On your computer! And in the CanDev Discord and CanDev Facebook group, where we'll be organising teams & sharing our work! Come join us; we're a friendly lot. 

In July our monthly Pizza & Pixels meetup will be going virtual on Discord - yep, online only - so everyone can stay nice & toasty at home and share their creations 🎮

Want to participate?

1. Register here!

2. Join the Discord or our Facebook group (canberra.games/discord and canberra.games/facebook)

3. Form a team (or go solo)

4. Make a game in 48 hours (across the week) ideally inspired by the theme of 'Canberra'

5. Upload your game!

6. Come to P&P Online on July 17th at canberra.games/discord and play everyone's games!

Rules

• Put Canberra in your game in some way (if you want) - set it in Canberra, put the Belco owl in, have Canberra vibes
• Don't start early! Don't work for more than 48 hours!
• Keep your game free until the end of P&P Online ($0, PWYW or 100% for that period) so we can try your game
• We're an inclusive and constructive space; don't submit games that go against that (you know what we mean)
