Hey everyone!
I’m working on an exciting 3D stealth survival game and am looking for a game developer who can help bring everything together and manage the technical side of the project. I have a great concept and need someone to build the game in Unity or a similar engine, incorporating the designs and sound assets.
Game Concept: The game is set in an urban environment where the player is being chased by photographers and MissingSeasons (dangerous NPCs). The goal is to survive as long as possible without getting photographed. The player must navigate through the city, using tools and evasion tactics to avoid detection.
Key Features:
Survival Gameplay: The game is structured as a survival experience, where the player has to stay alive for a specific amount of time without being photographed.
Level Progression: Each level becomes progressively harder, requiring the player to survive for an additional minute as they go through each level. For example:
Level 1: Survive for 2 minutes.
Level 2: Survive for 3 minutes.
Level 3: Survive for 4 minutes.
And so on, with the difficulty increasing with each new level.
The challenge ramps up with more obstacles, stronger NPCs, and other threats as time goes on.
Infinite Levels: The game will feature infinite levels, with a system that dynamically generates levels, making the game increasingly difficult as the player survives longer. There will be no fixed end to the game, but the levels will continue to get harder and harder.
Photographers: Various types of photographers (e.g., mobile cameras, professional photographers, drones) are stationed throughout the environment. Players need to avoid being captured on their cameras.
Dynamic Camera Mechanics: The camera’s field of view will change based on the player’s movement, so players can dodge, hide, or use cover to escape detection.
Camera Effects: If the player is caught, the camera will snap a picture, and the screen will flash or glitch to simulate the camera’s flash effect.
MissingSeasons: These dangerous NPCs actively hunt the player, not only chasing them but also attempting to get the player photographed by guiding them into situations where photographers are positioned.
AI Behavior: The MissingSeasons have unique behaviors, trying to trap the player or force them into areas where photographers are.
Animations: The MissingSeasons will have animations showing them chasing or cornering the player.
Escape Mechanics: The game will include safe zones, hiding spots, and underground tunnels. Players can crouch, hide, or quickly escape to these zones to avoid detection.
Evasive Animations: The player can perform actions like rolling, sprinting, crouching, or hiding to evade photographers and MissingSeasons.
Tools & Upgrades: Players can use tools like smoke bombs and mirrors to temporarily confuse or block cameras, or evade MissingSeasons.
Coin & Shop System: Players will collect silver and golden coins during the game. They can then use these coins to purchase tools and upgrades before each level. Golden coins are rarer and give players better upgrades for escaping or surviving.
What I’m Looking For:
A game developer who can handle the technical side of things, including building the core mechanics and programming the game in Unity or a similar engine.
Someone who can create a dynamic level generation system to make sure that the levels continue to get more challenging, with progressively harder challenges and more NPCs to avoid.
A developer who can integrate the photographer AI, the MissingSeasons AI, and the coin and shop system into the gameplay.
Ideally, someone who has experience with survival games, dynamic game mechanics, and integrating assets from designers and sound creators.
This is a collaborative project, and I’m excited to bring it to life with the help of a skilled developer. If you’re interested and have experience with Unity (or other engines), feel free to message me with your rate and an idea of the price for completing the project.
Looking forward to collaborating with you!
