Welcome to CALLIDUS!

A special game jam from our flagship event Infotsav organized by the students of

  Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management Gwalior.

This year we have the theme:

"The Odds are Against You"

Interpret the statement in whatever way you wish! There are no restrictions on genre or style, but there are a few constraints:

• No excessive nsfw or gore
• AI for assistance is allowed but completely creating assets or concepts using AI is not suggested.

Judging Criteria:

1. Theme alignment (How well your interpretation of the theme statement is)
2. Gameplay/mechanics and flow
3. Story and worldbuilding (if any)
4. Creativity

Rules and Guidelines:

1. You may use any tool, game engine or framework of your choice.
2. Assets must be either custom-made or with non-restrictive license(credit the creators when possible)
3. Your implementation/interpretation of the theme should be recognizable after playing the game for some time
4. Game must at least run on Windows 10/11.
5. Use of old or previous projects is not allowed, you may use your old assets but state it explicitly

How to submit as a team?

1. Only one account submits the game, preferably the team leader and game author
2. List the other teammates as co-authors on the game page

Some examples of ideas:

1. A card game where the player has to cheat to win against the evil casino
2. A twist on flappy bird but the pillars are actively trying to kill the bird
3. the player is a trash minion who has to defeat an unimaginably strong hero.

You can take inspirations from these, but not copy the exact thing.

What will you get from this?

This jam is ranked, the top 5 entries along with the best entries from each judging criteria will be listed for showcase on Infotsav Website

All entries will be shown to the participants in Infotsav with over 3000 students in campus.
