Behind the Game is excited to be back, running the 2019 Summer Game Jam

For newcomers, a Game Jam is an opportunity to make a game in a short amount of time, based off a theme and the creative ideas of fellow Jammers. This is a fantastic opportunity to network with other jammers, practice skills and develop your game dev portfolio.

For this Jam, we are opening it up to beyond Club Members, Swinburne & Non-Swinburne Students, to allow for Swinburne and Non-Swinburne Alumni  to participate as well. The game jam will run for a total of 22 hours over the weekend of the 6th to the 8th of December. There will be a short presentation on Friday night to announce the theme and some house keeping. Jammers can use as much time between the start and the end of the jam to develop their games.

Created games will have an opportunity to be showcased at the Games & Animation End of Year Showcase on the 9th of December, the Monday following the Jam. Details and Tickets for the showcase can be found through this link: https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/games-and-animation-end-of-year-showcase-2019-ti...
