🎄 THEME

This year we're going to have multiple themes! We will assign these themes as follows:

Each contestant will come up with a 5-word theme and submit it ahead of time (a team counts as a single contestant - max 2).
The contestants will have their names put into a Secret Santa Generator.
Each contestant will draw the name of their Secret Santa and be assigned the theme "the gift" their Secret Santa provided.
The judges will be all of the contestants as well as the public.

The ranking system will be weighted as such:

Category	Weight	Description
Theme	12.5%	How relevant is the game to the provided theme? The difficulty of the assigned theme will be taken into consideration.
Controls	12.5%	How good do the controls feel? How quick were they to pick up? How intuitive are they?
Level Design	12.5%	How well designed are the levels? Do they fit the theme? Levels don't need to be a massive open world to be considered a well designed environment.
Replayability	12.5%	How fun / addicting is the game? Is there a good gameplay loop that makes you want to keep playing the game?
Quality	12.5%	How good are the graphics? Particles effects, user interface, sound design, other little details that are "nice touches".
Story	12.5%	How good is the story? Is there dialogue? Does it make you feel like you have a sense of purpose?
Completeness	12.5%	How complete does the game feel? Is it missing an escape menu? Is the sound set to >9000 volume on startup?
Landing Page	12.5%	How good does the itch.io landing page look? Are there screenshots, descriptions, etc. that make you want to download it?
