BONUS BOUNTIES

-- Dignitas Bounty --

Task: Use the Dignitas NFTs already deployed to the Nervos Godwoken Blockchain in your game. (see contract address below)

NFT Contract Address:

0xed1dd0a4ddf6823e4f9aef6cba92627b71707b10

Has 5 items. From tokenURI 0 - 4.

Judges:  Ian K. Partilla and James  "Bakery" Baker of the Dignitas Esports Team!

Judging Criteria: Best and most creative use of Dignitas NFT and NFT attributes in-game.

Prizes: Nintendo Switch + 5 games / 5 Bounties Available

-- Filecoin Bounty --

Task: Build projects that use IPFS for content-addressing and/or Filecoin for decentralized, persistent storage. (Submissions that use either technology indirectly via NFT.storage, web3.storage, Estuary.tech, Textile, or other tooling also qualify).
All types of projects are welcome and we welcome your creativity. Feel free to browse past winners (here)[https://hackathons.filecoin.io/#hall-of-fame] for inspiration.

Submission guidelines At a minimum submissions should include the following items:

  1. Project Description The name and summary of the project. Names/pseudonyms of team members and contact info (e.g., GitHub handle, email address, or other).
  2. How the project uses Filecoin and/or IPFS and/or decentralized storage services that build on top of either with example links to where in code those technologies are used.
  3. Link to the publicly visible source code repository Include a link to the working demo (game) or provide a testing guide.
  4. Showcase 2-3 minute video that presents the idea, including a brief demo that demonstrates the use of IPFS and/or Filecoin or anything that builds on top of them. If applicable, select the appropriate track when submitting the project.

NOTE: Submitting the same project across multiple hackathons will lead to disqualification
Only projects or features (preferably in a separate branch) built specifically for the respective hackathon will be considered for prizes.
Broken links may disqualify the project from the judging process.
Using an IPFS HTTP gateway doesn’t count as building on top of IPFS. Exclusively basing your submission on that does not make you eligible for prizes.

Judges: Filecoin Team

Judging Criteria:

  1. Novelty/Creativity: Does it have unique and novel features or combine features of other products or services in a unique and novel way? Does it solve a new problem? Is it creative and puts a smile on people’s faces?
  2. Potential Impact: Does it fill a gap in the universe, and have the potential to be used frequently by a large, growing and diverse audience or market?
  3. Technical Accomplishment: Is the code elegant, clean, and technically interesting? Is the project complete?
  4. Filecoin & IPFS Implementation: Does the project interact with IPFS/Filecoin under-the-hood (i.e., more than simply retrieving a CID from a gateway)? Does it use NFT.storage, web3.storage, or other storage helpers?
  5. Design: How is the UX/UI/DX? Is it easy to use? If targeting developers, is the experience smooth and intuitive? Does the visual design delight you?

Prizes:

  • Top prize $5000 prize / 2 Bounties Available
  • Runner Up $1000 / 5 Bounties Available

-- ChainSafe SDK Bounty --

Bounty Description:

ChainSafe’s gaming SDK, web3.unity, helps developers build games with blockchain support and NFT-backed game assets. The SDK works on any EVM-compatible blockchain like Nervos, and allows reads/writes and simplified login across browser, mobile, and desktop platforms.

web3.unity recently added support for minting NFTs directly within a game, using a drag-and-drop Unity prefab. Users can claim ERC 721 and ERC 1155 NFTs once they accomplish in-game actions, rewarding them for play.

The ChainSafe Gaming team wants to see what you can build with this new minting functionality. This hackathon prize is for the best game, interactive experience, or developer tool built using the web3.unity minter.

Requirements:

  • Your project must use the web3.unity minter prefab
  • Open source is preferred but not required. Code must be visible during judging.
  • Your project description must mention how you used the web3.unity minter, and where in the codebase this usage can be seen
  • Your project must have a live, deployed, public, interactive demo that can be used by judges and other hackathon participants
  • Your project must include a video presentation of the game and technology behind it, explaining how you used the minter prefab in your project

Resources:

Judging Criteria:

  • Use of ChainSafe SDK
  • Gameplay
  • Visual Impression
  • Creativity
  • Creative use of the minter

** All submissions to this bounty must use this SDK. Special consideration will be given to projects that use web3.unity minter prefab feature.

Prizes:

The top three submissions will each win $500 CAD cash (fiat) or equal value in crypto (ETH).
