FAQ

Can I use previous game content or assets? Assets from previous projects or public use are allowed for this if you'd like, however the game itself cannot be started before the Jam's start time.

How long does the Game Jam last?
It lasts a total of 13 days, from 3 days before Bisexual Awareness Week starts to 3 days after it ends. This means it lasts from September 12th at noon to September 26th at noon, 2025 (Central Time). The voting then ends 2 weeks later on October 10th at noon.

What can my submission be based on? It can be based on a real story or it can be fictional. It can be focused on romance, coming out, realization, biphobia, or anything else that focuses on Bisexual or Biromantic characters.

Can I submit a NSFW entry? No, NSFW entries are not allowed for this jam. This may change in a future edition of BiWeek Jam, but as of now, NSFW entries are not allowed.

Do my characters have to be explicitly shown to be Bisexual? Not necessarily, if the character is shown to be interested in any way in same-gender relationships, that's good enough for this jam.

Is there a specific theme or game type? No, as long as the game focuses on Bisexual or Biromantic characters or experiences it's allowed.

Can my game have characters that aren't Bisexual or Biromantic? Of course! Just make sure they don't steal the spotlight too much.
