Make a game. Have fun. You get one week. We've never done this before so it will be a catastrophe

THE JAM HAS STARTED! Your theme word is...

A Game Jam is not a competition of skill between you and everyone else - it's a competition of creativity and flexibility against yourself.

We do have a few ground rules that will help make this process go as smoothly as possible and hopefully help to keep this competition fun;

 - You can use any engine/programming language you want (please no engine shaming other people lmao) but your game needs to be easy to run on most given Windows desktops so please distribute as either a native binary or something like a web game. You can also target consoles only if emulators for them are freely available and do not require copyrighted BIOS files to be dumped from real hardware.

 - If you're writing your own engine, use the time before the jam to get stuff done and make it battle-ready. Do not work on your game during this period. Don't worry, you will still be miles behind regular engine users :tcsmallbusiness:

 - The launchpad/theme word will be revealed on the morning of the beginning of the Jam (it'll be 12 AM for me so it may come out a little earlier or a little later but expect it just at that time). It will be both in the Discord thread and in this page.

 - You can use third party assets so long as you credit them and make sure you use them within your rights, so you will probably want to look for public domain/CC-0 textures, sounds, etc. if possible.

 - This is a solo jam. Only one person is expected to have a hand in the creation of each game. Let's all be trustworthy, responsible, respectful, and most importantly, have fun!
