Community - what does community mean to you? You have 48 hours to create a game based on your idea of what a community is.
This game jam is for the black/brown game dev community. If you decide to have someone else who is not apart of this specific community on your team it is up to you! We will not discriminate against anyone who joins this jam! We just ask that you respect this space and what we are trying to represent.
Teams will be limited to 1 to 4 people! So choose wisely for who you want on your team
Follow the Code of Conduct as follows
APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR: We want all game jam participants to be considerate and respect others in their speech and actions, attempt collaboration before conflict, and refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior and speech. Be mindful ofyour fellow participants! Alert the hosts, Celeste and Cam, if you notice a violations of this Code of Conduct, even if they seem inconsequential.
All teams are expected to upload a playable version or links/instructions to enable visitors to the game page to play their game. Upload is to commence by (enter time here). The server will be closed for uploads after the jam ends!
You must share any code and assets used for creating the game, that you are legally allowed to share without breaking any other legal agreements. So don't share any code belonging to your employer or anyone except yourself or anything that is under NDA or similar!! Basically please don’t steal y’all. This is a fun learning experience for everyone!
The games will be posted and judged by the public for five days once the jam ends! Once the judging is over there will be prizes awarded to first, second, and third place! Gift card prizes!!!
