Welcome!

Bezi Jam 10 is here. Four days, $400+ in prizes, and a theme we think you are going to love. This jam has two challenges: build a game around the theme, and show us your best Bezi fan art. Build your game using Unity and Bezi, shaped around a theme that will be revealed at the start of the jam.

The theme will be announced on May 22 at 12:00am PST. Until then, join our Discord for weekly hints every Monday leading up to the jam, plus an early reveal the day before for community members. Sometimes the tightest constraints lead to the sharpest designs.

About Bezi

Bezi is a development assistant that integrates directly into Unity, intelligently indexing your entire project, including assets, scenes, packages, scripts, and components, to provide context-aware assistance. Whether you are debugging complex scene-level issues, generating custom shaders, creating editor tools, or prototyping new mechanics, Bezi understands your specific project structure and coding style to deliver targeted solutions that go far beyond what traditional IDEs can offer. You can download and use Bezi here, or visit our itch.io page.

Theme

🎯 You Can Only Do One Thing
The challenge
Build your game around one core mechanic
That mechanic can be simple, strange, clever, restrictive, chaotic, or surprisingly deep
Make that one thing carry the experience
Examples
Only jumping, only pushing, only rotating
Only dodging, only growing, only swapping
Only pressing one button
Explore your mechanic
How does it create challenge?
How does it create progression?
How does it surprise the player?
How far can one idea go?
Keep in mind
Keep the scope tight
Have fun with the constraint
See how much creativity you can squeeze out of one mechanic

About The Devlog Prize

We are looking for developers who can tell a clear story about their jam experience with Bezi. A great devlog goes beyond the final game. It shows your process, problem solving, and how Bezi fit into your workflow.

📝 What Makes a Winning Devlog
What to show
Your process, not just the final game
Walk through your decisions
What you'd do differently next time
How to tell it
Include screenshots, GIFs, or short videos
Be honest about what happened
Reflect on how Bezi fit your workflow

Devlog Submission

Post your game in our Discord #bezi-showcase channel with the Bezi Jam tag. Focus on finishing your game first. You can add your devlog in the comments of your post during the voting period when you have time to reflect. Screenshots, videos, or GIFs help tell your story.

About The Fan Art Prize

New for Jam 10: show us your best Bezi fan art. This is a separate challenge from the game jam itself, judged by the Bezi team. Any style, any medium, as long as it is Bezi-related. AI tools can be part of your process, but the final piece must be meaningfully created by you. Pieces that are primarily AI-generated will not be considered.
