Do you  dare to look beyond the grave? This game jam is predominantly for tabletop games, but also for comics, zines, and art about what lies beyond the veil of death. These games come in many genres, from the ridiculous gore of zombie survival to the shadowed mystery and intrigue of vampires to the unsettling hauntings created by spectres with unfinished business. These games can even be quiet and contemplative, as the act of staring down death can certainly bring a new perspective into life.

For this jam, the task is simple. Create a game (or other type of art) that addresses the topic of death and what happens afterward in a novel way. There will be a secondary theme released at the time of the jam’s start, but it is not strictly necessary to participation, just another place that you can draw inspiration from.  This jam is not ranked, and it has a pretty relaxed time frame, so take your time and remember to have a little fun with it! This is mostly designed so that people can get a taste of something unique centered on a subject that comes up in what is already a vast array of different types of fiction. Have fun and happy game making!
