Hello all long-time and new game developers! I am BeastTornado, here to host the first ever BeastGameJam!

This GameJam is a ranked game jam made for any developer, no matter how much experience. You could be just starting on game development, but this is a good place to learn! We welcome you to submit without any anxiety about ranking high!

There will be a theme which will be announced at the beggining of the Jam on this page and the Discord Server, which you may join here: https://discord.gg/z8ekeGPdVt

The Theme Is: "Being Stuck." (Clarification: In some way, something gameplay wise is stuck.)

The judges for this jam will consist of many people who have played many games, but to keep a fair playing field they all like different genres of games to keep the judging more fair and diverse!

Your games will be ranked on:

Individuality - How the game stands out amongst other games.

Theme - The theme is followed and taken into consideration when crafting gameplay.

Completeness - Is the game complete?

Art - Does the game look good or at least fit a certain style?

Mechanics - Does the game feel good to play?

Optimization and Lack Of Bugs - How well is the game optimized and cleaned up?

Any Game engine is allowed! You could use any game engine, we accept you!

Reminder: Your submission is due by the deadline, no exceptions!

Please follow the theme, it's there as a baseline to build an interesting experience!

And finally, put a disclaimer of some sort on your game if it isn't "family friendly" in some way.
